Join Trafford Carers Centre for Carers Rights Day 2026 – a day dedicated to helping unpaid carers feel informed, supported and better prepared for the future.

We’ll be bringing together a wide range of local organisations and services to offer information, advice and practical support. Whether you’re looking for help with your own health and wellbeing, want to understand more about your rights as a carer, or need advice and support for the person you care for, there will be plenty of opportunities to speak directly to people who can help.

A key focus of this year’s event will be planning for the future. We’ll explore some of the things carers often have to think about, including planning for emergencies, future care and support, finances, legal matters and making sure plans are in place for the person you care for.

There will also be an interactive Q&A session with key representatives and decision-makers, giving carers the opportunity to ask questions, share their experiences and hear directly from people involved in services and support across Trafford.

Alongside all the information and advice, there will be activities, opportunities to meet other carers and a chance to take some time for yourself.

Whether you have been caring for many years, have recently become a carer, or aren't yet sure what support you might need, come along, find out what is available and help yourself feel more prepared for whatever the future may bring.
