Carers Gardening Group

Date/Time: Mondays from 10:00am-1:00pm

Venue: Gorse Hill Community Allotment

Event Summary: An opportunity to grow a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables over two allotment plots. Perfect for people who want some fresh air and don’t mind getting a bit dirty. If it is raining, the group will play board games.

Art Group

Date/Time: Mondays from 10:00am-12:30pm

Venue: St. Matthew's Hall, Chapel Lane, Stretford, M32 9AJ

Event Summary: Using different medias like acrylic and watercolour to produce amazing art on canvas. You don't have to be Picasso to join in, all abilities welcome. The group is led by a former Carer, an accomplished artist, who enjoys meeting with other Carers to take time to create their artwork. You can always commission one of our artists to paint your or a loved one’s portrait.

Getting To Know You Group

Date/Time: 1st Monday of the month from 1:00pm-4:00pm

Venue: Blue Sci 54-56 Seymour Grove, M16 0LN

Event Summary: A group to support carers who support someone with poor mental health. We’ll help you to better understand the cared for’s needs, ways to avoid relapsing and admission to hospital. A great opportunity to talk and meet up with our knowledgeable staff and other carers and improve your wellbeing.

Singing For Fun

Event Summary: A fun choir group with beverages available. Limited parking available on site, or alternatively on-road parking available [check for permit holders only restrictions that may be in place].

Meditation

Event Summary: Create some beautiful bouquets of flowers, garlands and wreaths to decorate your home or to give as a lovely present.

Chatty Café

Date/Time: 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 10:00am-12:00pm

Venue: The Life Centre 235 Washway Road, Sale, M33 4BP

Event Summary: On the 3rd Thursday of the month, grab yourself a free cake and coffee. Available for all registered carers to sit down, relax and meet some new people. We are a very friendly bunch of people and will also welcome the people you care for. There is parking behind the building and public transport links are nearby.
