Following a Carers Assessment or Review we can provide advice and support to all unpaid carers registered with Trafford Carers Centre, in regards to understanding your entitlements, assistance to apply and support the challenge decisions.
Our adviser has a vast range of knowledge and experience, working previously with the DWP and now with us. Common welfare benefit applications we help with include:

Do you know what benefits you are entitled to?
Trafford Carers Centre understands that working out what benefits or tax credits you are entitled to can be a daunting task and with over £800 million going unclaimed each year we want to ensure that you are getting the benefits you are entitled to.
Becoming a carer can have a significant effect on your finances, especially if you have had to give up paid employment. Knowing what benefits are available to you and the person you care for can be confusing. It is important that you claim what you are entitled to, even if you have been caring for a number of years, as circumstances may have changed.
