Three in five of us will be a carer at some point in our lives and while it can be rewarding and fulfilling, it can also be physically and mentally demanding. Carers often put their own needs last as they do their best for the person they are caring for. They put a brave face on it but they can end up feeling stressed, depressed and exhausted.

Put your brave face on and be there for local carers, one dare at a time!

There are more than 24,000 unpaid carers in Trafford supporting someone living with an illness, disability or mental health need. Being a carer means being there for someone who couldn’t manage without them, whether it’s helping with household chores, personal care, getting out of the house or just being around to make sure things are OK.

Will you dare to care for local carers?

Need some extra motivation to stick to your New Year’s Resolution? Got something on the bucket list waiting to be crossed off? Just want to make a difference? Whatever your reason for getting involved, your support will be helping carers in Trafford get the support and recognition they deserve.

We need your support to be there for local carers when they need it most.
