Picture1We are again running our annual survey to take a snapshot look at the current issues facing carers in Trafford.

The findings last year showed some shocking results with 76% of carers in Trafford saying that caring had impacted on their emotional wellbeing and over 50% living in isolation. From the results collated last year we directed more funding and attention to our Health & Wellbeing centre, ensuring carers like yourself had better access to counselling, relaxation therapies, workshops and mindfulness activities.

We want our services to be shaped by our carers, therefore the survey is a request for you to get involved and have your say in order to ensure that support services for carers remain relevant and focused, therefore we urge you to have your say and help us to form an understanding of what caring roles are like, what support you get from services, what needs to be changed or improved and the overall support that you think you need.

The responses that we get will allow us to build and develop on evidence collected year on year to review services and how they should be shaped in the future. It is essential that all carers are given the opportunity to respond as we build this evidence. The survey will remain open until the end of January 2017 and can be completed herehttps://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CaringinTrafford2018-19

All responses are anonymised and only non-identifiable data will be used in an evidence report that will be published in early April. This will then form part of the formal Council review into services.

If you would like to speak to someone about the survey please contact info@traffordcarerscentre.org.uk
