Caring for a loved one, can put an immense amount of pressure on to any individual and many Carers’ often find themselves struggling to cope and needing some time away from their caring role.
Trafford Carers Centre recognises that for many Carers their own health and well-being often comes second to that of the person they are caring for. We try to encourage our Carers to look after themselves and use our groups to take some time out from their caring roles and socialise with other individuals who are also in a caring role.
Trafford Carers Centre has many groups and events for Carer’s to get involved with such as our Craft club, Art club, Gardening club, Genealogy group, coffee mornings, well-being events or even the Carers Choir.
At the Centre we are always looking for new ideas for groups and activities. So if you are a Carer and have an idea about any other activities or hobbies you would like to pursue, please get in touch and let us know.
