Raise “a toast” to carers
To encourage people to wake up to the issue of caring, we’ve joined Carers Trust’s fundraising campaign to raise “a toast” to carers.
Britain’s Best Breakfast campaign was established to highlight how unpaid carers often neglect themselves by missing basic meals to carry out their caring responsibilities.
So, get scrambling some eggs or flipping pancakes with your family, friends or colleagues to show your support to carers in Trafford. #BeAGoodEgg
Come to our Best Breakfast
Start your day right and come along to our Best Breakfast event on Friday 14th October at the Trafford Carers Centre, 19B School Road, Sale, M33 7XX between 10.00am-12.00pm.
It is a free event for carers however, we will have collection buckets available to anyone who wishes to make a donation. Come along and have an excellent breakfast which you can wash down with a lovely cup of tea, a friendly chat and be waited on hand and foot. This is a great opportunity to enjoy some lovely food, socialise and learn a bit more about what we’ve got going on at the Carers Centre.
If you would like to attend the breakfast please call the Fundraising Team on 0161 848 2400 and select option 4.
Host a breakfast
Do you attend a church or other community group that could hold a breakfast event? Or perhaps approach your school or college to organise a breakfast for staff & pupils and ask for a donation to take part.
Invite friends/family/colleagues to share breakfast with you. Holding a breakfast fundraiser is the perfect way to get people in the community together to chat over some tea and toast and raise money for unpaid carers in the Trafford area.
Whether it’s toast and jam, a bowl of cereal or something a bit fancier, we’re asking if you will host a breakfast for your friends, family or colleagues throughout October to raise money to support carers in Trafford. You can download everything you need to host your breakfast by contacting us and we’ll send you a pack! Email – email@example.com
Breakfast not your thing?
If breakfast isn’t really your thing but you’d still like to show your support for carers you can donate online or by text.
