Donating to Trafford Carers Centre

Trafford Carers Centre is a not-for-profit independent, voluntary organisation. The organisation is a limited company by guarantee (no. 4695523) and a registered charity (no. 1102075).

Trafford Carers Centre values every donation contribution made to the organisation whether it''s small or large.

Your donation will help the charity develop as an organisation, therefore improving on the support they provide.

Making a personal donation

Any donation is important to Trafford Carers Centre and will help us to support more carers in the Trafford area. The easiest way to give to the Centre is to simply send a cheque/postal order payable to "Trafford Carers Centre" attention of our Finance Administrator at the Centre. We will write to thank all donors and let you know how your money will be used.

Gift Aid

If you are a U.K. tax payer, any donation from an individual can qualify for gift aid which increases your donation to us by 28%. For every £10 you donate we will be able to reclaim a further £2.80. In order to enable us to do this, you will need to give us your name and full address and write a declaration stating "Please treat the enclosed donation as a Gift Aid" or you can access a Gift Aid Declaration form here.

Legacies

Many people give generously to charity by including a specific charity in their will. If you would like to place a codicil in your will to leave a legacy to the Carers Centre you can download a Codicil form here. See the Codicil Guidelines for information about completing codicils. You will need to seek professional advice to ensure your will is legally valid.

Fundraising Events

A great way of raising funds is by individual or group activities. We have had volunteers raise money for us through holding events, company charity days, sponsored cycling or running, raffles, collections and competitions.
