Hello, welcome to the new blog on Trafford Carers Centre web site. I work there as a ''Carer Co-facilitator''. One of my roles involves me attending training sessions and explaining my experience as a carer. I am one of a small team of Carers and as you would expect we have a mixture of both positive and negative experiences. The aim of the training is that professionals leave the session with a greater understanding of how their decisions impact not just on the disabled person but also the carer and their families. We also attempt to keep the sessions fun and interactive which hopefully this blog will be. Bye for now x
